His name is TIMOTHY OLUWAKAYODE ABIOYE but he’s called THIMMY by his fans since he came into the mainstream gospel scene in 2003.Thimmy’s musical career began as a Church Keyboardist and Bassist in of the local and well known church in Lagos and Northern part of Nigeria called Sanctuary of Grace (LFF).
As an up and coming Keyboardist and Music Instructor during this period, Thimmy was actively involved in directing and Leading some few choristers from different churches. He was profoundly involved in church ministries through music and was tenacious in this domain.
He later joined The RCCG (House of His Glory Parish) in Lagos in 2005 as a Keyboardist, Bassist and Assistant Music Instructor there for Five year. Between these periods he got his BSC (Hons) degree in Mass Communication (UNILAG) and Diploma in Music Studies (Piano Major).
In 2010, Thimmy was employed as a Music Instructor at Christ Apostolic Church UK in London, (Pastored by Pastor JT Bandele). Over the past few years he has ministered in songs at many churches and functions through his powerful music. He’s now popularly known as THIMMY MINSTREL.
